Not a quote

No figure on this site is an offer of insurance. Premiums, deductibles, limits, exclusions and eligibility are set solely by insurers and are subject to underwriting. The premium ranges published here are planning estimates compiled from industry surveys; they are rounded deliberately and will not match your quote.

Estimates, not predictions

The calculator models costs you enter. It does not predict what your pet will cost, whether a claim will be paid, or how an insurer will interpret its own wording. Real outcomes depend on exclusions, waiting periods, pre-existing conditions, per-condition limits and claim handling — none of which a calculator can see.

Data and methodology limits

• Treatment cost ranges reflect typical U.S. specialty and emergency hospital pricing. Regional and rural costs are frequently lower; some metro hospitals charge more.
• Breed risk descriptions summarize conditions well documented in veterinary literature for that breed. They describe populations, not individual animals.
• Figures are reviewed periodically and may lag behind current pricing. Where a range is uncertain, a range is given rather than a single number.
